It's almost like a Q but their formation seems to relate to the crest on the left side of the brick thing with the name of the unit.

I think they are imitating the symbol of the HQ behind them with the arrow. For a Q I would want a few more extending out from the circle but that is me just being extra critical

I served under Barry. He was the reason I didn't retire from it. Other than that, GREAT experience.
Under is command, ROE/EOF policies were tailored towards helping haj and making sure most Americans came back home in a flag draped coffin.
