I wonder how much of this planefag activity is just normal, and now we're actually looking? Anything to hint that this isn't just normal ops right after a massive snow storm blows through the south?
No activity in Montana, wyoming, dakota, etc, only in the south.
Why bomb cities in America? If Q is about saving the kids, there will be a lot of kids that become casualties if those B52s bomb any city in America... even if they bombed congress. So its not for bombs, never for bombs here.
They can carry and launch missiles. Guys simple google search would solve questions like these. Precision guided. I believe there are multiple q posts mentioning missiles as well. May be worth taking another look at idk.
Has a "history" function, or otherwise there has to be some website out there that can give us some comparison.
This is the master plane tracker of them all.
www.monkeywerxus.com
His twitter was just banned (of course) and I dunno if his YouTube is still active or not...
At about 8:45am GMT Belgium had 4 F16's up, two went to France and landed, one veered off south and another went to 40k feet and just disappeared altogether.
Unless its Belgium's turn to run central Europe air defense turn I'd love to know what they were doing in the first place.
And, right now, there are TWO KC-135R aerial refueling tankers in the air; one right above Iowa that looks like it’s on track to rendezvous with the B52s (or at least it sure could)
And there’s another near Omaha.
AND there’s a single B52 that has a very weird, zig-zag flight path that is kinda near MN. Very strange flight path.
Can anyone with experience give an EDUCATED opinion idea as to how traffic today & yesterday compares to more "normal" times?
i.e; 6 months ago; what was MIL air traffic like?
If I'm reading the ADSBEXCHANGE site correctly, it looks like there are almost 230 US Military aircraft in the air right now; is that normal for mid-morning on a monday?
I'm currently tracking 444 in the US alone. The short answer is no. This is not normal. Days fluctuate, 100-200. This is double that. Keep in mind, this is just the ones we can see. Also be aware there are a lot of training a/c airborne as well. Its a public perception thing. The look up and see a "fighter". To the general public's uninformed eye, it matters not if there a T (trainer) or F (fighter) in front of the numbers. My .02
Not to hijack here, but the flight I saw, X, took off again from Pope, the circling c130 went back to Wilmington NC, and in the past few minutes, two c-130s, including X, and a Black Hawk all took off from there...
the USAF 18th Air Support Operations Group, 427th Special Operations Squadron, 21st Special Tactics Squadron, 24th Special Tactics Squadron, and Air Force Combat Control School operate from Pope Field.
I really wish I could see those numbers. I always see about half of what MonkeyWerx or others see. Have the U and P toggled on, zoomed to show all CONUS and right now I see 245 aircraft. Happens across all my devices on any network, I don't get what I'm doing wrong.

I don't know much about the usual activity, but assuming something unusual is happening, what would a b52 be used for?
A precision bombing can be basically anything, but then why 3 B52s?

It could be carrying rice and food for people?

Good question.

Just odd that ALL these aircraft are up & flying around first thing on a Monday, no?

Thanks so much!!
I have zero frame of reference, so I could guess, but it would be totally uneducated.
Glad to hear the activity is abnormal; that means things are likely happening...!!! :-D
Watching them too
Also seeing some fighter activity in Florida. (not trainers-the real fighters have no a/c info displayed)
Nope. Blackout ended. Plenty of action going on now.
theres another group over GA right now K35R
What’s up with al the fighters over TX right now? Just training?
Optics likely. T=Trainer aircraft. Likely out of Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls.
Cuba? Castro mentioned in earlier tweet, too. Missile crisis 2.0?
not a plane guy but i have been on the map all morning watching
I'm happy to hear this! We need more eyes on planes. I trust facts and things I can watch in real time. I put my trust in the military.
up to 461 planes definitely not normal activity
Did you catch the C-130 that was circling Pope Field? This whole thing is making my brain pop. Caffeine isn't helping either.

That's a lot of SpecOps in one place
397 birds in the air right now. And that's just the ones we can see. This is popping off.
yes very curios
Im enjoying the movie so far, and something tells me we are just watching the trailers still...
nearing 500 planes did you see the h60s by long island one of them landed

Untoggle the p
Go to that globe.adsbexchange.com
The very first thing you should do, the ONLY thing you should do, is click the “U” in the top right corner of the website.
ONLY click the “U” and it will toggle / filter ONLY .MIL Aircraft.
Hope that helps.
did you see the h60s around long island
Shills be like...nothing to see here.
Far from a plane guy, but I posted earlier about a flight that caught my eye: https://greatawakening.win/p/11Rhhh7cPv/
The comments there have some updates, and it looks like that flight is back in the air after about a half hour stop and is headed SW right now.

Be sure to toggle the U icon at the top of the screen for the military a/c to be isolated.
We need all the eyes we can get right now. Happy to have you aboard patriot!
