For clarity:
The 29th Infantry Division, also known as the "Blue and Gray Division", is an infantry division of the United States Army based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. It is currently a formation of the U.S. Army National Guard and contains units from Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and West Virginia.
That is not 10th mountain. Not uniform, fat-bodies with hands in their pockets. Not even the correct unit patch. That's a sustainment brigade from the National guard. I saw those patches a lot in 2010 at COB Speicher.

The xmen leader was bald and used a wheelchair. Looks exactly like that dude..
LULZ!!!
I love you guys
Still wearing the fucking muzzles though.
why is the patch on different sides on different people?
Side with flag = deployed with that unit.
Side with no flag = current assigned unit
maybe its on both sides?
right side combat, left current unit. You can wear whatever combat patch of a unit you deployed with or were attached to.
Where is this photo from? DC This week?
NOT 10th Mountain. This is 29th ID which is MULTIPLE state national guards.
thats fucking insane.
They don’t exactly look like Jason Bourne
I hate to sound like Temperance Brennan, but I don't know what that means.
Red summink
That yin yag patch is the 29th infantry division not 10th mountain. I think part of Virginia national guard.

29th ID was disbanded shortly after WW2.
IF this is in fact the 29th Infantry Division, as it seems, based on the "yin/yang" patch, check THIS the fuck out:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/29th_Infantry_Division_(United_States)
THESE GUYS ALSO DEPLOY TO FUCKING GITMO.
COINCIDENCE???
I REPORT.

That is not 10th mountain, they have a Guard patch on. 10th Mt patch it badass, and no active soldier would ever deign to wear a nasty girl patch.

Good eye! Do you have a date for the pic or a link with the date?
the facemasks prove that it must be recently, within the last few months at the very least.
Good point.
