It was Snape that protected Harry, was it not? Snape would have been the reason Harry became the final Horcrux.
No, Harry became the final horcrux when voldemort tried to murder him and failed as a baby. In universe, murdering somebody splits your soul, and the combination of his mother's sacrifice and the murder prevented the spell from working, gave Harry the scar, and attached a piece of voldemort to Harry.
It was through Snape's memory that Harry discovered he was a horcrux, and Dumbledore was setting up Harry to sacrifice himself, something Snape did not want to happen. But Snape followed the plan because it had to be done.
In the books there are many examples of Snape protecting Harry, even though Snape hated him. He was Snape's only link to Lily.
I don't think Snape hated Harry so much as he hated how much like James that Harry was turning out to be.
Well it's the duality of things, something most libs don't get. It is why JK is a brilliant author. Snape hated Harry for acting and looking like his dad. He loved him as the son he never had as the last link he had to lily.
The books are particularly brilliant as the second rise of the death eaters easily parallels what is Goin on now:
I could go on. The point is that these books are celebrated by liberals, yet they don't seem smart enough to pick up on the lessons and parallels. Retards.
As for pence being Snape.. I guess we'll see.
Snape was a god-tier villain in the sense that his motives were difficult to find fault in, and were arguably as noble as Harry's.
