I remember the media hype regarding the idea of Trump firing Mueller. Of course we know that would start WWIII. We also know that it would be completely different with the media and Biden.

Unfortunately the way the swamp works, they would likely miraculously “find no evidence of crimes committed” if Biden did in fact take over.

You can't just "pick" for Congress. Unless new elections, paper ballots and finger dipped in ink. Which I am hoping for.
Senate is easy, Governors appoint interim picks. House seats, not yet sure. That said, IF some of the Governors are arrested and even SoS critters, the line of succession has to kick in and I am not sure how this all plays out. Its a state by state, of course, but not a day or two job as some make it sound. It may take some time to reconstitute Congress until next election takes place. In red states it should be easy. In blue ones its a crap shoot right now, IMO. What's the point of cleaning the Congress if blue states simply send more rats in?
Need to research the Constitution a bit to see if there is a provision for such an event, and if there is a minimum number in Congress that makes it operational on interim basis. Its certainly a mess.

Special counsels are a waste of time, just fucking arrest them if you have the evidence.
A special counsel isn't appointed by the congress, they are appointed by the DOJ.

FatesWebb is correct, he was inaugurated on the 11th a private ceremony. Donald Trump is the president, with the constitution rules. Joe is not really Joe anyway, you should have known its not him. This is a movie!
