You are welcome!!!
Is this your first if you don't mind me asking?
And yes; I'm definitely a bit biased, but my daughter really is stunning. ?
❤️
One massive thing that quickly became apparent to me when I became a parent (KEK!) is how drastically society really has bashed, defiled, and slandered parenthood.
I was very nervous almost my whole life about becoming a parent, wondering if I'd hate it because virtually everything / everyone in popular culture makes parenthood sound like an 18 year constant hell of non-stop piss, shit, vomit and tears.
Sure; there's been a bit of that - but overall, parenthood is far & away the most amazing, rewarding, beautiful thing I have ever done in my life.
Nothing will top this.
Parenthood is the most beautiful thing in the world.
Finally; if you don't look into the face of your newborn child and literally see the face of God; there's something wrong with you. Life and birth is truly a miracle.
My husband and I just started trying on Christmas so we were absolutely floored to get a positive result so quickly! We frankly thought it would take months and are now scrambling to start the house hunting process so that we can move out of our one bedroom apartment.
Thank you for taking the time to tell me about your experience with parenting vs how parenting is represented, it's greatly appreciated. My husband and I both come from far left families (Unitarians on my side and angry atheists on his) and all my friends are lefties so I don't really know too many people who I can talk with about this issue.
It's amazing how much Hollywood and media trash our nicest experiences as humans. Similarly, I was actually really scared to get married because marriage is represented so NEGATIVELY. Being married is of course wonderful and I'm glad to hear that you found a similar parallel with parenthood.
Thank you again, my friend. Can I ask if you went for a hospital birth or a midwife/birthing center?
Hey! I am a mom of three, between the ages of 2 and 6- you got this, parenthood is awesome (and hard). As for your apartment, don’t scramble- take your time, and even if you don’t find one by the time the baby is born the first year they are just that, a baby, they don’t know and don’t care- they just want cuddles and milk. Time and emotional investment top pretty much anything else.
And if anyone tells you “yOu sHoUlDnT bE fRiEnDs wiTh yOuR KiD” bs, you shouldn’t be only their friend, be their parent first, but i absolutely have friendships with all my children already and it’s beautiful.
If you want any other help / guidance / advice / info; I'd be more than happy. DM me.
Congrats on getting pregnant relatively easy - I learned that many people do struggle with it, sadly. :-(
Honestly; being a new parent is pretty simple. Follow your instincts & you will be fine. It's not rocket science.
Babies cry for only these reasons:
Hungry
Tired
need attention / love / cuddles
Diaper change.
Take care of those basics & the rest is simple.
It actually gets HARDER by a LOT once they start walking....to start with, they're just like little dolls; you can plop 'em wherever & cook dinner, workout, do whatever you need to do for a bit.
Once they start walking; game over. LMAO. But then it opens a whole new world of fun.
And yes; it's the exact same with Marriage; it is also wonderful, but trashed almost worse than parenthood by our corrupt, sick, satanic "pop culture" Tragic.
It is hard; it takes work; but anything worth having does.
My wife & I went thru some very serious shit together but are now stronger than ever & there's no place in the world I'd rather be than home alone with my wife & child. <3
Anyway, I could rattle on forever; I absolutely love being a father more than anything I've ever done in the world.
Oh, and we went to a regular, major hospital so my wife's long-time doctor could do the delivery. We had a great experience; it's a wonderful hospital. We are blessed.
Like I said; DM & reach out if you have any other questions as a new parent. :-)
CONGRATS!!!!
I've got a beautiful, vibrant 3 year old, and another due in May.
I'm NOT letting them grow up in this satanic clown world the communist democrats are trying to drag us into.
FIGHT, FIGHT, #FIGHT!!!!
HOLD THE LINE!!!!!
DO IT FOR YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much! And congratulations to you, my fren! You sound like you have a beautiful family! Sending much love to you and yours.
