“ The 3rd Infantry Division Band, known as “The Best Band in the Land,” was constituted in 1943 in the Regular Army as The Band, 3d Infantry Division. The Band has gone through several consolidations and re-designations over the decades before finding its current home at Fort Stewart in 1984.”
It must be the band for the virtual inauguration right?? lol
3rd infantry are umong the army best, hope this is something
3rd ID is mechanized infantry. They come to bring the 'Boom'.
10th mountain is Light Infantry. I was part of 10th during my service. We have vehicles as well but our mission obj is to do everything on foot. We hardly do any mounted operations. Hope this gives some insight to you guys.
Band, as in music. Marine field bands (and it would seem Army as well) are assigned a combat role if deployed, last line of perimeter defense of headquarters. My particular band provided machine gun teams.

How hilarious would it be if the bands playing then right after swearing in they set down their instruments and start cuffing people at gunpoint lol
No way that’s happening but it would be too kek
I live in Bryan County, where FT Stewart is, and I can tell you that for the last couple months I have been hearing them practicing in the distance.
Band confirmed lol
Nah, lol. I live miles away. I've been hearing explosions and guns.
I suppose I should have added the /s lol
