You can tell a lot about people from first impressions. I went to the the page you linked and see a guy on the ground reverse-planking a chair, and his bio quote is "hermit with a heart of lead".
This guy is a doomer, withdrawn, and has an ego complex centered around being different and superior from "the masses".
He might sound smart to you, but egotistical midwits usually sound convincingly smart.
I would take everything he says with a heaping spoonful of salt.

The whole time I was thinking there's no way her mind is going to be able to handle what's to come.
