Has anyone else noticed the correlations between Twin Peaks and Q drops? What does David Lynch know about Hollywood? Was he trying to tell us something through the guise of "entertainment?"
Here are just some themes that Twin Peaks addresses that we have seen come up again in Q drops:
-
In Twin Peaks, we repeatedly hear the phrase "The owls are not what they seem." In Twin Peaks, the owls are a menacing force and are often present when great evil occurs. Q mentions owls many times (Drops 182, 184, 189, 192, 500, 1565) and they seem to be a central part of Illuminati symbolism (Bohemian grove, Molloch, etc).
-
The show starts by investigating the death of a girl named "Laura." In time, the show exposes a pedophile ring that murdered Laura when she wouldn't become "one of them."
-
Special rings/insignia are used in the movie Fire Walk with Me - rings that look similar to what Killary is wearing in drop 291 https://qposts.online/post/291
-
In the show, there is a brothel across the border in Canada called "Jack with One Eye." This seems to connect to the illuminati practice of covering one of your eyes.
-
Sex Trafficking and China also play a major role in the show.
100% yes! Lynch is high up in all this. If you watch the 25 years later Twin Peaks series he devotes entire episode to atom bomb and electricity! I believe he is deep in the system and as an artist he tries to tell about his life. You will see adult Laura working in a diner and there are shipping containers behind the diner at a port, such as used in human trafficking. We rewatched original series and the 25 years later series last year again.
Yes! My husband and I have watched the 25 years later Twin Peaks series twice and I think I'm ready to see it a third time, especially now that I know more about Q.
I think it's interesting that co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost have completely opposing political views.
Lynch took a lot of flak for saying that "Donald Trump could be one of our greatest presidents" whereas Frost has possibly the worst case of TDS I've ever seen.
Goes along nicely with Twin Peaks' theme of duality, the dance of dark and light.
Great point! And I don't think Frost was involved at all with the movie or the recent show. The movie covers a lot of illuminati stuff the show doesn't even get into.
All of David Lynches movies tie in with this stuff. He's a genius
Absolutely! I also think it's quite possible he was abused as a child. He seems like he's been through a lot of trauma.
Especially Blue Velvet. Maclachlan literally plays an anon trying to find the truth and encounters heinous evil during his investigation.
Interesting, i expect we will be hearing a lot more like this soon
My favorite line from TP was "damn good cup of coffee......and HOT!!"
Save the Pine Weasel!
Hahahah, yes.... things sort of degrade in Season 2.
Very interesting. I found that to be a nice relaxing show to watch. I loved the scenery of the show. I didn't notice these connections until now, but it makes a lot of sense.
The Conjunction from Dec 21st is also when the Black Lodge opens up
Wow, that's really interesting. I didn't catch that, it's been a few years since I've seen the show.

duuuuude! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!
Lost highway and mullholand drive also have a lot of fitting symbolism and storylines
Also Owls are often remembered by alien abductees instead of the aliens.
My husband LOVES Lost Highway. Terrifying film. Mulholland drive is great too! I need to give it another watch. Interesting how both films have people becoming different people... I wonder what that means?
I didn't know that about owls being remembered by alien abductees instead of aliens, I'll have to look into that more! That's really incredible, especially since the Major in Twin Peaks is investigating the owls and gets messages from deep space.
Duality is such a strong theme in almost if not all of Lynch's works that I think that's why he has people becoming different people in those two films. It's very fascinating
I'm a huge Lynch fan. Yes I have noticed. The correlations between the black lodge and white lodge factions of spirituality are uncanny. You bring up a few points of reference I missed though! Such as the rings in FWwM. I hadn't watched the movie in a bit and forgot about that! Twin Peaks is mandatory viewing for not only esoteric nods, but Lynch is one of the few in Hollywood that's on our side. Blackballed like Mel & Woods. I highly recommend his film Blue Velvet as well. It shows you the type of evil that innocent researchers encounter while trying to ascertain the truth behind a trail of bread crumbs! Highly relatable to anons journey the past 4-5 yrs.
I've got to see Blue Velvet again! It's been too long!
To my understanding Owls are messengers (Harry Potter).
They can be good or evil, depending on where they are sending/receiving the message.
"Jack with One Eye" could also mean Everyone/EveryMan with One Eye. Horus tears out his eye to give to his father Osiris who has lost both his eyes. We are considered "blind", those with one eye can see behind the veil. Its interesting that the brothel is over the border or behind the veil.
When Q tells us to look into the symbolism of owls, I don't think he meant modern sources like Harry Potter so much as ancient associations like Moloch, Lilith and Bohemian Grove.
So you're saying they don't use symbolism in their movies?
The OP is about modern movie symbolism.
Owl Symbolism
Hi Fren, if you look at drop 192, 189, 184, and 182 Q associates the owl with symbolism that will be "their downfall." Q presents the owl as a negative symbol that the cabal uses openly to demonstrate their affiliation with darkness. I'll also note HP was written after TP was on the air, so it wouldn't have been referenced symbolically by Lynch.
In none of the listed post does Q say Owls are Evil he asks what does it symbolize (to the cabal).
A single symbol has many different meanings.
The Owl can represent Wisdom.
The Owl can represent a Messenger (carrying a Message or Wisdom.)
The Owl can represent Seeing in Darkness.
The Owl can represent Hunting...ect.
The reason they use the Owl could be because they are holding that wisdom and keeping it from the masses.
The Owl could also represent the messenger who takes their sacrifice to the intended entity.
THE SYMBOLISM DOESN'T CHANGE FROM MOVIE TO MOVIE.
It doesnt matter when HP or TP was made, the symbolism doesnt change.
I was using HP as an example of the messenger owl symbolism.
Yes, that's so funny! I was just thinking about that line last night! :D
GMTA ;-P
In this deleted scene from Blue Velvet Isabella Rossellini throws a pair of red shoes away. Definitely meaningful.

2 is wrong. Laura was working at One Eyed Jack's as an escort, and was banging Leo and Jacque the night she died. Bob killed her, not the people associated with Jack's.
Otherwise looks good.
I never said that she was killed by people associated with Jack's....?
The owls are not what they seem. Large owls are often seen by abductees, yes its a thing. & here we have the biggest owl of them all which is now fenced in.
