Yep, you got it. He used the storming of the Capitol incident to invoke insurrection act not to be ultimately used against us but to be used against them without raising suspicion. That’s why he sent out short video asking us to please go home peacefully shortly after storming of Capitol. In order to invoke insurrection act you have to make proclamation to insurgents asking them to disperse first.
