I periodically take a deep breath and plunge into the MSM news sites to see what my liberal friends/family are reading that day. Lately I do it to also try to see hints of the Greatest Movie Ever unfolding in front of my eyes.
Today’s Daily Mail dive didn’t disappoint! Here are some highlights:
Armie Hammer (actor and grandson of business magnate Armand Hammer) has Instagram posts that talk about his love of sexy BBQ meat after recent accusations that he is a cannibal. This follows up leaked pictures of girls on bed yesterday. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9154915/Cannibal-Armie-Hammer-posted-love-sexy-meat.html
Kamala Harris is dressed in a pinkish business suit showing off white/teal socks that say “Future is Female”. No shoes. Her niece made a Tik Tok video of her to show off the socks. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9156197/Kamala-Harris-rocks-Future-Female-socks-viral-TikTok-video-posted-niece.html
Lincoln Project co-founder admits to being gay despite being married to a woman and will be leaving the group. The article has a picture of him working with No-Name. (Hmmm, why that picture?) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9154729/Lincoln-Project-founder-John-Weaver-admits-sending-inappropriate-messages-men.html
Robert Maxwell’s eccentric last days are discussed in a new book. He was the owner of the Daily Mail and drowned. (Also the father of….?) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9155017/Robert-Maxwells-days-drowning-depicted-electrifying-new-book.html
A waitress rescues a boy from abusive parents at a restaurant and people donate thousands which is then used to help rescue children (suddenly multiple ?) from their abusive situation. (Methinks this is really about another child trafficking ring uncovered.) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9155087/More-27K-raised-hero-waitress-saved-boy-11-abusive-parents.html
An armed security guard is arrested at a checkpoint in DC for having false Biden inauguration papers and guns and ammo in his truck - that he forgot to take out. (Me, having a military background – he’s not just a good ole country boy…) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9155125/Virginia-man-arrested-trying-enter-DC-checkpoint-gun-ammunition-fake-credentials.html
I also glanced at cnn.com:
An article about Trump staying out of sight while the nation prepares to transfer power has an eye-catching picture of the Capitol building in the background with the fence and razor-wire in the foreground. I’m an engineer and hated English assignments telling me to look for symbolism, but the picture seems dissonant with the article’s title…
The other prominent article discussed Chris Miller’s loyalist Trump appointment to the NSA.
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell also made the top of the page articles about a CIA director replacement.
And that was enough for me. Back to reading more GreatAwakening.win posts!
Dude. You are literally a goddamn Saint. Taking the plunge for us. Take my Pede Distinguished Service Cross.
I can’t watch MSM. I end up yelling at the TV ?
Haha same here! “THAT’S NOT WHAT HAPPENED AT ALL!!!!”
I literally get nauseous watching any MSM.
Yeah, Mrs horseyPatriot would have to turn off Faux Nuze cause I would be yelling at the TV within ~ 30 sec. Now we know why.....
Same, followed by the wife telling me to STFU
ditto
Is sainthood legit when it's given while taking the Lord's name in vain?
Could be it means not to use His Name for any purpose except His.
My interpretation of taking the Lord's name in vain has never had to do with using it as a curse word, though I think that is bad on its face in a disrespectful way. I've always believe that to take the Lord's in vain is to profess that you believe in him and belong to him when in reality you don't and have not given yourself to him. Take in this context would be akin to someone getting married and not being faithful to their spouse, they are "taking" them in vain.
Just my thoughts.
in vain
means
for other than proper purpose
so your interpretation is wrong, sorry
using God’s name as an expletive is most certainly blasphemous and in vain
I’m pretty sure it’s related to what Jesus said “do not judge”, people nowadays saying that excuses all the wicked things they do publicly with no shame. He meant do not say or believe that someone is or has been condemned to hell, but to pray endlessly for them. Because, hell is real and it’s more terrible and horrible than even St. Faustina was able to relate to us how incredibly horrible it is. As much as we feel that some absolutely deserve it, ourselves included, the mercy of our Lord is just as great. After reading St. Faustina’s diary I for one do not want to spend eternity in the company of Satan in that place, nor wish it on ANYONE
