I find that hard to believe. In all my military experience, this is an op. Too many things line up to be anything else. Marine officer dad and spec op friends all say the same. Finance head honcho friends say the same. All signs point to wednesday being execution of an op long in the planning.
Just look from a miilitary command perspective. Troop types, quantities, armorment or lack of.
Compare that to other theaters of war.

Trump speech in 2017 said that the transition of power wasn't going to him, but we the people. It essentially isn't his to pass on.

It’s clear to me that trump does not like biden. That’s all I’m seeing. Not sure where there is some requirement where his name has to be mentioned in transition talks with the media.
That is a rather legalistic way of looking at it.
But by the same token, it could be reasoned that absent a clear indication as to whom the transition is done, given the fact that Potus did not concede, concluding that by default a transition statement must therefor pertain to a Biden Administration is rather pre-mature.
