Between Covid and their typical attitude of showing up only when they feel like it, there is no way all of them are gonna be in the Capitol building on the 20th.
This holds true, especially since McConnell isn't gonna call a session early for the impeachment.
The thing is if they're wanted for crimes, and they don't show up, they'd become fugitives. So if the US military is ready to arrest them that day and they don't show up, it's just a matter of locating them. Biden is the only tricky one on this count because the threat of him being sworn in somewhere else.

Unless something happens between now and Noon on Wednesday, to "un-elect" (per the Jan 6th joint session of Congress) Biden and/or Harris, then they will become President and Vice President at that time, period.
Neither Biden nor Harris can exercise their new office until they take the prescribed oath for their new office, respectively. As is their duty, the Secret Service will work to ensure that these two are secure and have taken their oaths immediately starting at Noon.
So, what can happen before then that actually matters? Biden and/or Harris could refuse the office, fall ill or die. That's it. I am counting on the first one.

I think it depends on who authorized all the troops. If Trump did, yeah, they might get worried. But if Pelosi or Biden ordered the troops (do they have that authority?) then they have no fear. But if FEMA ordered the troops, that might make it a toss up about military loyalty. For a virtual inauguration, they all can gather at a secure location (wearing masks of course) and video the whole thing. It’s just us small people who can’t be there. I have no official insight, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn express.

From a ton of states too. And the fencing, barriers, etc. all had to be logistically organized and ready to be deployed. Nobody had to count, or do any numbers, it was there smooth as butter.
While visiting the troops Pence repeatedly told them all to follow the "unified chain of command". That is the SecDef and then Trump. That is it, no one else.
Unified chain is when multiple agencies work with each other. That language is generally used more by FEMA as far as I understand. Some military pede was posting about it yesterday.
