Spank saw it correctly. That was on his right shoulder, so it's a Combat patch, not his unit patch which would go on his left shoulder.
The guy was likely in the 10th Mtn during combat, but now he's in the NG, and authorized to wear the 10th on his right.
This is not proof of 10th in DC.
They're historically a specialized elite light infantry force, like airborne. I'd assume momentum and tradition means their standards slip slower than others, like at Bragg. Theres a weird grouping of 82nd, 173rd, 101st, and 10th that saw me always rotating in or out with one of those units in Iraq. I was 82nd.
Yup, exactly.
Now, he COULD still be in the 10th today. You will know that for sure if he has the 10th patch on BOTH shoulders. But, based only on that video, you can only see the right shoulder so we don't know what unit he's with today.
HTH
Edit, but good eyes though, on finding the 10th patch in the first place.
Why can't FORMER members of the 10th mountain be part of the plan also. Pence still showed us 10th mountain was still in the plan. What if some are now at the capitol infiltrating the rest of the NG? Maybe they are commanding the NG troops.
QUIT your dooming over more proof. You would probably all say the same thing if he had a Q patch. "BUT HE ISNT 10th MOUNTAIN NOWWWWWW!"
Shut the fuck up and go back to reddit, goddamn im sick of you fucking brain dead retards screaming doomer when you're shown facts instead of learning something like the retards that destroyed the Donald. Fuck off and think you fucking clown
You have multiple (add me in as well) military/former military telling you this means next to nothing as it's the wrong arm. Is it a good sign? Sure. But this doesn't mean the 10th is in DC. Trust me that I and many others are looking for that confirmation, but this isn't it.
"Maybe they are commanding the NG troops." Not even close to how the military works.
"You would probably all say the same thing if he had a Q patch" If he did, he is either a LARPer, or massively disrupting OPSEC and risking the entire country. Anyone actually involved in something this yuge wouldn't be that stupid.
It's the same patch. Just moved to the other side. I have a few combat patches also. He was either in 10th mountain in combat or his unit was attached to them.
Hey boss, I’m not an Armyfag, so I don’t know the significance of 10th Mountain aside from them being named in that Q post. Can you explain why they are revered among other units?
They are one of the 4 Divisions in 18th Airborne Corps, which is historically the Army's rapid deployment force.
82nd, 101st, 3rd are the other divisions in the 18th.
The 4 Divisions offer 4 different strengths (and weaknesses).
82nd can parachute in anywhere.
101 goes in by helicopter.
3ID is a Mech Infantry division, == Armored vehicles and tanks.
10th is light infantry = feet on the ground. Great for mountainous terrain and cities where vehicles can't go.
The 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) is a light infantry division in the United States Army based at Fort Drum, New York. Designated as a mountain warfare unit, the division is the only one of its size in the US military to receive intense specialized training for fighting in mountainous and arctic conditions. More recently, the 10th Mountain has been conducting operations in Iraq, advising and assisting Iraqi Security Forces.
It's from the Wiki but doesn't seem to be slanted politically.
Yes, the Mountain tab and if it were 82nd or 101st combat patch would include the Airborne tab. Ranger TAB is for a school so no but the Ranger Scroll is a for a unit so that would go on the right shoulder. Get's complicated unless you ran in those circles and why stolen valor guys are so easily spotted.
That's a combat patch not a unit patch. Right shoulder unless I saw it incorrect. Unit patch will be on the left.
Armyfag here.

Noob here, why is the 10th mountain considered high quality?
They were mentioned in a drop.

Also, its on under the flag so no matter how its edited, it's his right shoulder
Maybe "central locations" is not just referring to D.C. alone?
Hooah!...or some shit

Where? I've only read the first thousand or so ...
Thanks!
Could be, he could still be with 10th mountain. Doubt he's a nasty girl though

How is that even CLOSE to dooming?

Ill take the downvotes, it was a harsh thing to say. But "come on, man!" News is showing something positive!
MIL ASSETS 10th MTN Does not sound like" Former 10th in the NG"
Does dude operate under the procedures and rules of the NG or the Marines?
Correct.
video is probably mirrored
US Flag is mirrored on the patch the other way... you win.

We tried! ?♂️
wrong
already established but thanks for your input
So the combat patch shows the 10th mountain badge with MOUNTAIN written above it?
It's the same patch. Just moved to the other side. I have a few combat patches also. He was either in 10th mountain in combat or his unit was attached to them.
