The helis out of Aberdeen are oil rig flights. He put it in for extra effect because they are civilian and nit military, hence not using the U icon for that pic to make it seem like more mil aircraft are flying.

Discount CG helicopter - they go out on exercise at least once a day. Aircraft of Aberdeen could be Fisheries patrol or Counter Pollution patrol task, they do it frequently in this area, wouldn't be excited about it.

I’ve just heard them I’m 5 miles from Airbus and trust me were lucky if we see a military plane above us once a month.

Perhaps they’re rounding up the fence jumpers, capturing the run-aways, isn’t hillbags still in Ireland....

If I was an enemy I’d have realised by now that the RAF returns from its Christmas Break on Sunday, gets back into it a bit yesterday with a few hawks over the Irish Sea, has a well earned rest before starting work at midday today!
Meanwhile our brethren in the USAF are effectively on a war footing?????
