For the last 4 years I've always given news a 24-48hour rule. Hasn't failed me yet but thus hurdle is quite daunting.

Yes. Each time the media was in a tizzy about something or even supporters, they needed to wait a day or two and then whatever had upset them was made clearer.

It's a good rule to follow.
