Please place some of the blame on Social Media. The way human interactions go down on Social Media it's not normal. Back in my day, I'm old, if you wanted to say something offensive you risked actual backlash or consequences. I can remember like the IRL version of being blocked basically people wouldn't talk to you for a few days etc. Sometimes if it was bad enough you would get into a real fist fight. My college classmates had to pull out the calculator for simple addition and subtraction. I still remember the appalled look on the faces of the international students, they were like: “Is this the ‘advanced’ eduction that costs us hundred thousands of dollars?”
For once, I do regret paying for my university degree in America. Now I have over $100,000+ in debt for “advanced education.” Note that I had so many scholarships and paid some of the student loan while working 3 jobs in college.
