Marines do not salute without a cover (hat). Those Marines were covered. They are ordered to salute all superior officers. POTUS is Commander in Chief. They did not salute Sleepy Joe. It is awfully strange. They could technically be brought up on charges under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). What I saw in the video is not normal. I'm a former Marine, albeit from 30 years ago...but I'm sure things haven't changed much in the Corps since then.
Not likely it's changed much at all. And thanks for your service. I have a brother who did 3 years in the Marines. He would have stayed longer, but they wanted to keep him in a job he wasn't interested in.
Thank you for your service. What would you do if your commanding officer told you that Biden is not the commander in chief & that you should not salute him? What would you do then?
We know that it is the military that raided the dominion buildings & it is the military that knows for a fact that the vote was not only rigged but rigged by way of China & Iran. I'm wondering if the generals consider this basically an invasion & the generals are really now in charge
If my CO, or even squad leader, platoon sergeant or platoon commander/platoon leader told me not to salute him, I would not salute. The Chain of Command dictates. If I interpreted their order as unlawful, I could challenge it...but it wouldn't be worth it.
so I pulled up Trump's inauguration from 2017 and found where he was leaving the capitol and the Marines didn't salute. Here's the link with timestamp. Is it different if Trump is going in?
where exactly is this? Can someone confirm that Marines should salute here? I've been looking for pics/vids of Trump and the marines and they always seem to salute
I didn't even notice that the marines didn't salute him either. Holy cow.
