It's a stretch on my part, but Abbot may be anticipating a very urgent need to have them back in Texas. With Biden on day one basically telling the caravans of illegals that they can freely walk into the USA, that could create massive problems for border states. A sudden influx of a few hundred thousand people would overwhelm small border communities. As I said, it's a stretch of thinking on my part and more than likely off base. We'll have to see if the other border states do the same thing, while the other states remain in D.C.
