He facilitated the development. Gave big pharma money to go do it. It was up to THEM to do it responsibly and if they couldn't to back out and shut it down. Merck has backed out. Pfizer, not so much. They had EVERY chance to do the responsible thing. Again, what he did was expose what has been going on with vaccines/big pharma for decades. Gee, why would the CEO of Pfizer sell his stock holdings the same week the vax came out? American Frontline Doctors have been saying DON'T take it! But it gets covered up. People need to use their brains and think. Experimental "vaccine" that isn't even a vaccine? Hell no!
Also ... what he pushed FAR more than vaccines, was therapeutics and alternatives like HCQ! HCQ which is literally safer than Tylenol was turned into the boogie man by big pharma because there is no money in it. Exposing corruption that has always been there, that is what he was doing.
He's not a cult leader. People have a responsibility to do their own homework and take responsibility for their own decisions. I love Trump but nothing he could say could make me support the vaccine. Nor should it. He's not a medical professional.
How did he misrepresent reality? He handed it over to the scientists/medical professionals. He was supposed to then insist they didn't know how to do their jobs? Supposed to come out insist the medical professionals are wrong?
He didn't create the vaccine nor did he tell people to get it... he just made it possible for people to get what they insisted they wanted. He didn't even take it himself. He always pushed therapeutics
Not one conservative that I know of supported the vaccine despite supporting Trump. You are taking a crazy leftie angle here. Conservatives aren't little children looking to be told what to do/think.
I just don’t understand why Trump kept promoting the vaccines so hard. I get the Left wanted them, but people on the Right trust Trump’s word.

I promoted HCQ right along with him. I never once cheered the arrival of vaccines though.
I’ve also never heard him directly tell people to get it.
He’s always said that it’s available for whoever wants it, but he hasn’t encouraged it.
Well said....

And leaders have a responsibility not to misrepresent reality.

Preach it!
It’s a Lefty angle to be against vaccines? Or it’s a Left angle to think our President shouldn’t talk so glowingly about them?
He pushed HQC and they were on the verge of taking it off the market completely.
He pushes the vaccine and they don't say a word about him cutting all the red tape.
He tested them with HQC and then showed us that they are actually the ones behind the vaccine. He was sending us a message.
This is a very good point right here.
I'm with you there. My original thoughts were the vaccines would prevent further lockdowns but if this is true, I'm not so sure.
