No trading was shut down at 911 other than that never heard of any such thing.
I got in on silver (AGQ) at opening on Monday to carefully ride the hype. It went up then tumbled. I sold ahead. Two days later I get a warning from TD ameritrade that I didn't follow the rules...? I funded the account with my own currency, no loans etc. They warning read I was supposed to stay on with my purchase longer...which would have been a big lose for me. Big guns still holding my proceeds hostage. My response, sell everything except GME. Time to take a break for me.
