It’s crazy that people wear masks without anyone even saying anything! Like just wait until an employee asks you at least.
I literally don’t wear one in any store I go and if someone says I have to then I say I have a medical condition. IF it goes further than that I leave or put on a fully transparent mesh mask.
If we were all to resist just a little then the restrictions would not haven’t gotten to the point we are currently at..
Same here, I never wear a mask. Ever so often I'll get asked to at a restaurant or a store. I either say, "No thank you", ignore them & pretend my ear phones are blaring, and the other day I told a restaurant hostess I was medically exempt.
I identify as a person with asthma and masks make it worse, plus your sign does say "except for medical exemptions" and it is a violation of HIPPA law for you to ask me about my medical conditions and advise me to act contrary to my doctor's orders and by the way go fuck yourself.
I see this when I got to church on Sunday, and the room is filled with people and only ten people are wearing a mask out of a few hundred. Yet these are the same people that reluctantly put one one to be able to buy food for their families in stores, go out to eat in restaurants, fly on planes, and go to work to make money to support their families.
I truly believe there are more of us than there are of them. But people don't like to get in trouble/don't want the hassle of dealing with dirty looks/confrontations.
Same. I go to the grocery store once a week and I’m in a 90% liberal area. For the first two weeks had no problem even though I was the only person in there without a mask. The third week I was at the checkout before someone said anything. The last 2 weeks I’ve been stopped multiple times in the store and asked if I need a mask.
I was telling people I’ve got a medical history that makes it unsafe to wear one. Partially true because I’ve got a history of chronic bronchitis (and it helps that I have an old inhaler to carry around). Today I just straight up said I’m not wearing a mask or anything else on my face. Felt good.
My sister is a diehard liberal living in California getting a political science degree. She heard that I’ve been going around for the last 2 months without a mask and said she hopes I get COVID to teach me a lesson. A week later and she’s got blisters in her throat and potential tonsillitis. Don’t know whether it’s the religious mask wearing Karmic retribution.
I like to think it’s more a a misguided ignorance on her part. Moving to California certainly hasn’t helped.
As far as the bronchitis goes, I haven’t actually been sick for the last few years and did switch over to a vegan diet due to much of the reasons you’ve got listed. Nobody argues with you in the store for not wearing a mask if you’re carrying an inhaler though.
I haven’t gone fully raw vegan but since I’ve got chronic hives that require Zyrtec everyday for the last 15 years it’s definitely the next step to at least see if I can clear up the allergies once an for all.
I don't wear a mask. Most people don't say anything, but some do. When I took my son to the eye doctor at Walmart, one of the people working there came over to me while I was sitting in the waiting room and asked me if I wanted a mask.
I said, "no I don't want one" & got up. Then she started to say that it was required & I just interrupted her & said, "no, thank you." & left. Omg, these people & their masks, I'm so over it.
I'm in the UK: won't wear a mask but got a lanyard with an exemption card. Not been challenged but had people say they wish they could get one too, so I tell them how. One woman freaked out because I got too close. I asked what the problem was if her mask worked? She freaked out more because she had not (or could not) engage brain, called me selfish and irresponsible. Now I tell people masks are as useful as a knitted condom. Most laugh and agree, some get angry. Fear porn is a very powerful weapon.
Sweden does not have mandatory mask rules. We just have it as a recommendation.
Anders Tegnell (the current state epidemiologist of Sweden) more or less stated/claimed that wearing a mask wouldn't help to stop the spread covid-19.
Reason being is because people don't know how to properly handle a mask. They put over their mouth and nose—all fine and dandy—but they still later on adjust and touch near the mask with bare hands, pushing it down to sit on your chin because you had to do something, or you let loose one side so it hangs from one ear.
Then you touch your face anyway, subconsciously. A quick scratch with the back of your finger near the nose or near the eye. All enough to catch it.
Masks help when you know how to handle them, and remain mindful of not touching yourself whatsoever until you get to a spot where you can properly clean yourself.
But people don't know how to properly handle them, so it doesn't work.
No one has said a word to me i go everywhere without one now

I too play the ‘stare down the masker’ game ??
I go back and forth from complete anger staring them down to huge smile sometimes.. Both equally effective
i think most people are aware its a load of bullshit but are just scared
we need to be courageous so the timid can feel comfortable joining us
do my part every day. the regular truck driver and some customers stopped wearing the mask at my job. feels kinda good man.

Love it!!! ?
I’d get the stink eye up here.
Me too! Never gave in!

Thanks for the advice!

Had the pleasure of talking to a police officer today....it hit me that he wasn't wearing a mask a couple hours later.
Soon to be mandatory 3 mask, 3 condoms & buttplug.

I wear a mask because mine says TRUMP 2020. I get so much support and approving comments! My way of redpilling...
Never wore a mask. They want your $$$ and if you say you can't wear one, they can't ask why.
