I disagree. President Trump said, Happy 4th of July today on Truth. Is he "woke"? My 85 year old mother greeted me this morning with Happy 4th of July. Is she part of the woke/cancel culture?

I, for one, LOVE our American traditions. Americans aren't imbeciles that can't figure out that the 4th of July is our independence day.

Nope, I disagree. It's always been the 4th of July in my lifetime & that is music to my ears. I really don't like people constantly trying to change our traditions.

I disagree. I prefer our tradition of saying Happy 4th of July. I really don't like how people are trying to change our traditions. No one has to say happy independence day for me to know that it's our independence day.

My property taxes have doubled in 6 years. It's outrageous. I'll be paying this place off soon & yet I'll have to continue to pay these taxes for the rest of my life. I feel helpless with them arbitrarily raising it all the time.

Nice post. They totally did not want him to be able to speak about this freely. The guy on the left even called him asinine. Man, oh man.

This is very exciting.

I don't know you personally. People I've met in life that smoke pot a lot seem zoned out to me like a zombie.

You have a right to your opinion and I have a right to mine. Not a fan of pot & never have been. The people I've met on pot come off as zombies to me. Pot seems to be glorified nowadays, but I'm not into that sort of thing & I'm not going to pretend that I am.

I'm also not a fan of the continuous cursing I see in today's society & that you put in your post to address me. It seems to be glorified in today's society as well. I wasn't brought up that way & I don't agree with it.

I remember seeing this movie on t.v. in the 70s. I was a child. I don't remember a lot about it, but I do remember the part about people not being allowed to live past 30.

So, after reading the article, it appears that it's actually, "mostly true".

I agree. Your children grow up to be people that you have the best conversations with and just enjoy their company. :)
