Kroger Co. will close two supermarkets in Southern California in response to a local ordinance requiring extra pay for certain grocery employees working during the pandemic.
The decision announced by the company Monday follows a unanimous vote last month by the Long Beach City Council mandating a 120-day increase of $4 an hour for employees of supermarkets with at least 300 employees nationwide and more than 15 in Long Beach.
Kroger said it will close a Ralphs market and a Food 4 Less on April 17.
Congratulations, Long Beach California!!! YOU are driving businesses away by mandating extra pay for no reason.
CNBC did a "What is causing the mass exodus from California?!" special thing.
Without watching it, I am betting they get all of it wrong and ignore that people fuckin' hate the liberalism that causes them to be broke
As someone living in CA, here's what it feels like. Companies are leaving CA because it is a bad state for business when it comes to rules/regulations/taxes thanks to Dem leadership. People are leaving as the jobs leave, and as our taxes increase (again, due to Dems). The working people are leaving. However, our homeless population is exploding and most are from out of state. Dems refuse to do anything to prevent this, and just allow them to take over our parks and beaches out of "compassion".
So, workers are leaving. Homeless are coming.
Unfortunately, who puts them on trial?
Even certain people here are like "STORMING THE CAPITOL WAS TERRORISM!" and it comforts them to believe it was AntiFA.
While it is important to point out we didn't do it, it is also important to acknowledge that when every other part of the system fails to keep their cheating and anti-American bullshit in check, that is the only sort of action that becomes acceptable.
But they have somehow outlawed that part of our Constitutional duty.
CNN: this means it's actually a wash which means nobody's leaving!
How many products does Kroger sell that are from China?
Sounds like Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle Washington!
It's obviously due to white supremacy. /s
It's "progressive" now.
You're right and I meant to put it into quotation marks
Classical liberalism leads to leftism.

I'm classically liberal and I'm considered far right at this point ?
I don't want any of the shit the left is cooking.
That doesn't take away from the fact that liberalism turns into what you despise. Liberalism is upstream from leftism.

We can still turn back. There is still time to salvage something for the children and grandchildren.
Blaming things other than the cause isn't getting it wrong. It's propaganda and is what they're paid to do.
