People no longer use correct English, they type it as they hear it. So, "he had better of" (which is really poor English) should read "he had better HAVE" (although in a sentence it is "have" it is bastardized to "of"). Drives me crazy!
“I seen” is the one that drives me crazy.
Me too! Are they not taught that it is "I saw" or "I have seen?"
My son does it. He was taught, it’s just they all do it so he does it. I cringe every time I hear it.......
