The only significance of Rome is when Paul (Saul) appealed to Caesar. And Caesar saw no wrong with him. I don't know any other significant about Rome and Christianity.

I enjoy history. Even though some are distorted, I theorize about certain events and question their outcome. Remember, only the winner writes history, regardless of what the losers have done. History repeats itself because the truth is distorted.
