Like everyone I was disgusted with Marjorie Taylor Green's speech last Thursday where she denounced us, apologized for her atrocious toading, and asked to be readmitted to the Luciferian cult of congress where good is bad, up is down, and everything real is in fact, a crazy conspiracy of the ultra right. Then she doubled down on it in an interview I saw yesterday where she admitted her belief in Q and the alternate theories of 9-11 and Sandy Hook was "wrong". But in the fogginess of waking this morning, an idea hit me. Possibly a crazy idea (not all of my ideas are good ones) but it was an idea nonetheless.
Do you remember the trailer that was released a few weeks back (I think by sciencesplat/pray4america)? I can't find it right now, perhaps someone can put a link in the comments. At the end before the "Take your seats, the show is about to begin", Russel Crowe turns to the camera and says "It will be Biblical". Sidney Powell also used that language.
What if that was meant to be a literal statement. That the movie will literally be "Biblical". In other words, the characters will be acting out scenes directly from the Bible/Passion of Christ? In this case, MTG would be portraying the apostle Thomas. Denying her faith and trying to hide from the angry mob (and if so we should expect a 3rd very public denial from her). If this were the case, I'm not sure who to place in the role of Judas. Maybe Ted Cruz? I think the entire Supreme Court could fill the role of Pontius Pilate, but I'm not sure if there is a single person who ultimately condemned Trump to "death".
Unfortunately this is really not my best area, and it has been years since I studied the Bible. I don't remember the details well enough to see if there is any real pattern here. Do you think there are other characters from the Bible that could be mapped onto modern congress critters in this drama?
This could be just an asshat theory, but even if false it may provide useful entertainment value. Can anyone else think of any other similarities that may exist between the 2 stories?
You are correct. My apologies. It really has been a while.
"It's gonna be Biblical" cites Law Abiding Citizen and is tied to "Bring the whole diseased temple down around them." The picture is that of Samson bringing down the temple of Ba'al around the Canaanites who had captured him after Delilah had exploited his weakness.
What makes a good movie?
Oh it's going to be Biblical all right, but think Isaiah.
And Jehosophat, Revelations, etc...
Did you know that Steven Mnuchin (Sec of Treasury under Trump) was a movie director?

Perfect time to resume studying the Bible!
Judas would be Pence.
Nah .... Tucker is just doing what tucker has always done. Looking out for number 1, Be somewhat of an outlier, asking questions, and adding some villain remarks.
Agreed. Good choice.
