Is this about banning people who use the N word? I really don't see why that's controversial. We represent a movement. The eyes of the global press are on us. Anyone using the N word is either irresponsible/unthinking to the point of being a liability or is a shill trying to frame us.
One word. Ignores every other racial slur. That word doesn't even pop up very often, and when it does it has been deleted before most people see it.
It's already a rule. It didn't need a stickied thread. It didn't need the "I don't care" attitude. It didn't need the leftist tactic of "you defend this naughty speech so therefore you're in favor of this naughty speech, everyone get them!"
Our side has been leveraged by our good nature far too long with tactics like this, period, and we are at the point where that dam is about to burst.
The leftist propaganda machine has been calling us racist, sexist and every-phobe that they can invent without proof. They literally invent their own proof.
Like when Reddit invented a narrative using a small number of shills that the only people supporting cops at the time were threatening cops in order to create an excuse to ban The Donald.
It literally doesn't matter what they say because they'll say it anyway.
Get this through your skull: We are done conforming to them and their hypocritical double standards.
It's already against the rules to post blatantly racist shit. Everyone knows it is. The rules are right there. It didn't need a sticky that ONE WORD IN PARTICULAR is more out of bounds than every other racial slur in the book.
Go read that post and set the comments from "top". No one here is actively using the N word and to pretend they are is to create a divisive problem out of smoke to derail our movement.
Although I haven't personally seen anyone here use the N word, I get why lifetime bans are being handed out for using it. It's the most divisive thing you can say in America, any screenshot of any shill using it could be used to smear our movement. Racial division is the opposite of what Q stands for. With all the journalists trying to smear us, taking a hardline on the most racially charged word in our language makes sense.
3 days into modhood pushing perma bans for something that wasn't happening isn't about protecting the integrity of our community, it's about abusing his power with "permission".
u/catsfiveu/Son_of_Honkler Most people seem to see it but this situation is striking me as one where Uhtred has alts or well meaning newbies backing him up.
Yes. People should be able to use naughty, Constitutionally protected language.
Yes, moderation against those is fine -- but it singled out one word, and only one word, his attitude was horse shit leftist tier (and so was yours) and it was far from the best way to do it.
What's better: A gentle reminder of the rules stickied while saying that there has been an uptick in rule breaking content, or specifically choosing one word that is a no no to a group of hardcore Constitutionalists?

Dude.
Are you serious? I can't take you seriously.

u/catsfive u/Son_Of_Honkler Honkler I'm tagging you in all these to act as a canary.

Actually I just argued all night with multiple people who think they should be allowed to use the N word.

The answer should be super easy.
I disagree with the sticky, created unneeded conflict. I agree with the concept, no racial slurs. What say you to this?
