Therein is the problem: Trump didn’t break any law and there is no evidence he broke any law.

Constitution wins out on this argument, because it's impeachment—not prosecution of a criminal matter.

All you are doing is pointing out how ludicrous this whole thing is. Not only are the "victims" on the jury, but worse is the simple fact that if Trump's and others accusations of voter fraud are correct then many of the very people that voted to impeach him are in office based on fraud and should not be there to begin with.

It's like a thief stole the sherrifs badge and then used it to charge the actual sheriff with stealing the badge instead of him. Everyone is just politely ignoring that the sheriff is a thief wearing a stolen badge because the loudest busy body in town calmly said "looks legit" or "sheriff checks out". Its the most ludicrous circular firing squad in history.
