Just saying. Question everything. That was the end.

This thread has already made me realize this is something important to get out. Learn to sniff out bots. It's going to get hard to impossible. Mostly impossible.
You would be astonished how many persons under the age of thirty or so have never had a desktop computer. Something that you and I take for granted: swipe-highlight + right-button mouseclick + search highlighted term -- is an alien concept to the person who grew up with a mobile welded to their hand. The phrase "Turing test" is right in front of their nose (because you wrote it for them), but they not only won't search for it, but they'll behave as if you're some kind of arrogant asshole for not spoonfeeding them a definition when you had no idea they needed one.
And they're not bots, because bots have built-in dictionaries and AI-learning now.
Wish I could give you some more upvotes.
But you can!
What's your PI ref?
It lists it if you page-down.
On gab? sorry no gab here. Otherwise I'll be happy to receive a DM.
It's not Gab. It's a mobile app that faucets a few coins a day (more if you're reasonably charismatic) and functions as a cloud wallet.
People really should care to have more knowledge about things. This one guy in the SS doesn't know what a Turing test is?
Would that have been your reply, or would you have taken your human ass to ddg or something and crushed my argument?
If you're an intelligence agency then it's perfectly useful for getting millions of incredibly dumb people to offer up tons of information about themselves for free. That's why it exists in the first place.
You should not blaspheme the name of God.
THE SECOND COMMANDMENT
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.72 You have heard that it was said to the men of old, "You shall not swear falsely. . But I say to you, Do not swear at all.73
2142 The second commandment prescribes respect for the Lord's name. Like the first commandment, it belongs to the virtue of religion and more particularly it governs our use of speech in sacred matters.
2143 Among all the words of Revelation, there is one which is unique: the revealed name of God. God confides his name to those who believe in him; he reveals himself to them in his personal mystery. The gift of a name belongs to the order of trust and intimacy. "The Lord's name is holy." For this reason man must not abuse it. He must keep it in mind in silent, loving adoration. He will not introduce it into his own speech except to bless, praise, and glorify it.74
2146 The second commandment forbids the abuse of God's name, i.e., every improper use of the names of God, Jesus Christ, but also of the Virgin Mary and all the saints.
2148 Blasphemy is directly opposed to the second commandment. It consists in uttering against God - inwardly or outwardly - words of hatred, reproach, or defiance; in speaking ill of God; in failing in respect toward him in one's speech; in misusing God's name. St. James condemns those "who blaspheme that honorable name [of Jesus] by which you are called."78 The prohibition of blasphemy extends to language against Christ's Church, the saints, and sacred things. It is also blasphemous to make use of God's name to cover up criminal practices, to reduce peoples to servitude, to torture persons or put them to death. The misuse of God's name to commit a crime can provoke others to repudiate religion.
Blasphemy is contrary to the respect due God and his holy name. It is in itself a grave sin.79
2149 Oaths which misuse God's name, though without the intention of blasphemy, show lack of respect for the Lord. The second commandment also forbids magical use of the divine name.
God's name is great when spoken with respect for the greatness of his majesty. God's name is holy when said with veneration and fear of offending him.
I hate this argument because it implies God is a snowflake. It's also the same argument the alphabet soup folks use to try and force you to call them by their "preferred pronouns."
In the OT, God is easily offended. When he sees a piece of turd, he totally goes of the reservation.
With this in mind, people tend to extrapolate with that is supposed to mean and come up with detailed rules and regulations to authoritatively denounce what they see as undesirable.
Strictly speaking, nothing more than a control structure.
In the NT, God is very forgiving. I guess, after a couple of thousand years interacting with people, you would basically recognize how stupid the majority is and well, actually, there is not much you can do, except hoping, they also may see the light.
At any rate, it simply tells you: don't get suckered into these kind of idiocies as they neither help you grow spiritually or solve any real world problems. They create additional problems.
The NT offers a simple solution: every person has to carry his own responsibility and is personally accountable. Value and virtue vs rule and regulation, walking in spirit or walking in flesh.
Okaydoomer has not yet been able to escape the prison for his mind. I'm sure he'll get around that particular discovery.
God is and can be offended. He is not a snowflake. Sin offends God which is why no one with sin will get anywhere close to where God lives.
When people fail to recognize their own sinfulness, God is deeply offended, and Jesus' death on the cross is trivialized.
God is absolutely offended by child rape and murder. Don't you think so?
He is offended when you blaspheme His name.
There is nothing snowflakey about being offended by child rape or a man beating his pregnant wife to death.
If these things offend God, how much more when we take the name of Jesus Christ as a curse word or word to use when we're upset?
Insane reasoning on your part.
You are bound to the Ten Commandments. They are the nature of reality as designed by the Heavenly Father. There is no getting rid of "thou shalt not steal" "thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife" "thou shalt not murder" (which Jesus goes further to say that hate in the heart is murder), etc.
You are way off base.
You missed the point. Those are part of the 10 commandments. Another is:
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.72 You have heard that it was said to the men of old, "You shall not swear falsely. . But I say to you, Do not swear at all.73
Which you say is Old Testament. No. It's the nature of reality for all time. Jesus reaffirmed the 10 Commandments, he did not do away with them. He did away with the burdensome laws the Jews made with no love in their hearts for God or one another. Those he rebuked are part of the Cabal that runs the NWO today.
You are responsible to live the 10 Commandments which means you do not use the name of God as a curse word, as instructed. Jesus Christ is the God of the Old Testament despite what Gnostics tell us.
Blasphemy requires repentance but it can be forgiven UNLESS it is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Yes, that is my mindset on the matter, as well. I don't suspect you're being facetious or arguing in bad faith.
Here is more on bad language:

My post clearly explains the details, whereas you are focusing on one particular point. You wish it was only in the case of oaths being taken.
