If the virus was naturally created, it is not patentable. However, I can change the DNA or the RNA or whatever, and call it a variant of HIV for a vaccine or any other useful purpose and patent it. These kinds of patents are difficult to understand because they are supposed to teach one of “ordinary skill in the art” how to “make and use the invention”. They are written for others in that field, not average joes. This whole thread is a hopium larp. Sorry but that is just the reality of it. I’ve litigated biotech patents and diagnostic assay patents for many years. I know what I’m talking about.
Guess what? Not everything in a patent actually works. It is not a requirement that the invention be “reduced to practice “, ie, they built one that works.
I was watching something the other night that said Ebola and hiv are patented! Just when I thought I had heard it all ?
Sauce?
I haven’t checked on hiv, but yes I looked up ebola when it was the hype and it is.
Thanks! Totally not surprised of course, it probably didn’t meet the die off quota they expected, as per usual of all their manufactured viruses.
Fauci.

Ebola to genocide huge swaths of Africa. HIV to villianize the gays in the 90s and start the "us" vs "them" narrative
