I still remember a video from a while ago where Bush Sr. went to a strip mall kinda restaurant and it was just him in a Suburban and 2 or 3 agents, nothing else.
It's a great video that was taken by a guy who was heckling the hell outta Sr. and the agents replied with something like, Leave him alone, he's an old man'.
I'll bet those elderly cabal critters really pine for the days of having a 100% lock on information, and only had to maybe worry about snuffing a guy printing mimeographed newsletters in order to keep their narratives intact.
None of these retired vermin will ever be seen again as kindly old wise statesmen.
Bush Sr. was a special case. He intentionally lost to Clinton, whom he controlled anyway, and then his son took over. He effectively had 20 years in office. Plus the years Reagan had lost his mind, and control defaulted to the VP.
Then he’s an old man on national stage and grabs a young woman’s ass in the midst of the #metoo movement, and there isn’t a peep about this ‘evil republican’. And it goes without saying he was deep state during the JFK years, since he was CIA director at the time, and played a big part in coining the term ‘conspiracy theory’ to discredit deep thinkers.
Yup!! They had a full control over the media! I am speculating that Bush Jr/ was the last to have control over the MSM, 9/11 happened before phones had decent cameras/web access/testing and other mass info sharing capabilities.
I believe the more recent presidents get increased protection as they are still likely to be targeted. Guys like Jimmy Carter would get reduced as it's been so long. The dems and media have whipped people to a frenzy they would try and kill Trump if they had a chance. He still needs that level of protection regardless of if he's president or former. Obama likely still has a couple cars with him.
He had blinking blue and red lights on the vehicles. Based on my bike week experiences down in Daytona, its illegal to have blinking red and/or blue lighting on a non-emergency vehicle. Perhaps former presidents are also provided govt vehicles? And maybe not
I don't recall past presidents having full police escorts and being able to shut down a street before making an improptu appearance as well. Yeah he was on his way home but it's not like that was the only route they could take either, they specifically drove by to see the crowd.
