After the meeting on Monday, German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz issued a statement, raising concerns about authorizing the launch of Facebook’s libra cryptocurrency, which has been renamed diem, in Germany and Europe. He warned:
A wolf in sheep’s clothing is still a wolf. It is clear to me that Germany and Europe cannot and will not accept its entry into the market while the regulatory risks are not adequately addressed. We must do everything possible to make sure the currency monopoly remains in the hands of states.
CB's aren't panicking. They're the ones at square center behind digital currencies, especially Bitcoin....and their plan is working magnificently. Another "currency" backed by dead air.
I don't know why they'd panic over an electronic "currency" they control?
With all due respect to those of you that have invested in bitcoin/dogecoin etc....
Think about how easy it is to be controlled, traced, wiped out. What they can not control is paper currency and coins. These forms of currency do not leave a digital footprint.

I know! Until I see shills here pushing back against digital currency, telling me it's a waste of money, then the CB just isn't panicking.
