Even his haters were addicted to him, just like I was addicted to President Trump because I loved him and still do!

I hear ya, but lots if people are waking up for the first time. They are seeing firsthand lots if things that weren't apparent before. Trump is facing the greatest organized evil that exists in the world, it's not just about election fraud here it's about taking down the biggest Goliath that ever existed even in your nightmares. I think none of us want to be so heavily involved in politics that it becomes a full time job of watching our backs like under barry or bidan. " Oh lets see how they want to kill me today " gets old.
We want to WANT to follow politics to see good things like Trump wins and even I want that to be part time, because isn't freedom the ultimate goal. To enjoy a real life to fill our time.
Ignorance and complacency as a society has been what the DS has relied on from us for so very long. It has allowed them to launch themselves to a position do the things they have done, in our faces, illegal, corrupt, outright evil and they have pretended to do this righteously in the name of the Constitution. Liberty has been stolen while most of us slept. It will not be easily recovered once lost.
This is why we are in the position we're in. We needed to care way before Trump came around, as a society. We needed to care when Obama destroyed our liberties along with Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell, and they went to the bank on our dime as they did so. Then, in Trump's darkest hour, we watched live as they betrayed him and certified a fraudulent election. Start caring for the right reasons. Our liberty once lost will not be easy to get back and there will be a great and terrible cost.
Well when you see it's all theater again, and your vote literally means shit, there is no incentive to care. At least before this election, momentum led to results because they didn't want to show their whole hand.
Now they did, we know, they know we know, and they saw that neither legislatures, congress, the courts, and even the SC didn't. Military stood by and gave Biden a wrinkled flag.
So until something of substance comes up, it'll be hard to get people to care. Unless you're aiming for a revolution. Otherwise, care and expend energy, donations of effort, money, and time, just for pedophiles to be ruling over you.

Politics seems petty and insignificant now that my eyes are really open. The cool thing is, now I see so much more than politics. The bad thing is, I can't listen to any of my old podcasts.
Got any new ones? I was really fond of the first season of Lore. Great story telling tying together history and present through the myths and folklore of people across different times and parts of the world.
It often leaves you wondering whether there is something to folklore and not just "the rational explanation" and leaves it really open for you.
I've been listening to true crime lately. Down the Hill, Truth and Justice, The Apology Line are the most recent. I need to get back to The Young Heretics by Spencer Klavan though. He talks about the great works of Western Culture in a really interesting way.
I'll check out Lore for sure.

I think this may be progress of sorts. I've been here since Reagan. I've lived through Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obarmy/Trump. I hardly paid attention to who was in the WH. Presidents would give boring speeches which would be dutifully carried by the media. and no one would pay much attention. But ... and here's my point - life went on. Stock market rose. home values rose. I got promotions and raises. Trump was something of an anomaly in that, he was obsessed with communicating ... hourly. A return to 'boring' may not a bad thing.
