I knew today would be so distracting, I called out sick. No chance I would get any work done today.

Always amazed me how bus drivers can execute those turns so precisely.
I've driven big rigs so a bus is easy. . You gotta watch the back tires, not the front of the vehicles so much....I have my mirrors set up for everything....I think every car should have front crossover mirrors...they let you get within inches! Oh, I'm not a dude either lol...also ride Harleys...kind of a tough old broad ?

we had a bus driver in school that once a month would pull over and let us have a paper fight on the bus. it was awesome.
I am 60's, do home maintenance and construction in a skirt for a living.
it was amazing. the water was froze on on the trees, the trees look like they were made out of crystal. i have never seen anything like it. i am sure it has but i saw it for the first time. when i see something so powerful i am reminded that Epstein didnt kill himself.

Don't know where in the country or world your from but if this is the first I'd imagine somewhere that's usually warm....I lived in SW Florida and those few times it would get really cold they would put the sprinklers on in the orange groves so the water would freeze on them thus protecting them from damage...I'm originally from NE Ohio, so this weather is what I grew up with...

In an office setting I can easily decide the day before that I am going to take tomorrow off.

Train people better, screen better, have empathy (life always comes before work). You literally just suck at your job. Crying that you suck at running your business is not going to do you any good. Quit blamming others, work harder and smarter. This is whats holding you back from being successful.
Anyone that has WORKED at a job for an extensive length of time has EARNED paid sick leave and vacation/flex days. This is not in anyway a handout by government. Dangerous driving conditions warrant a decision on whether a person feels SAFE driving in it. If you should die in a car crash or write off your vehicle you won't be able to work now would you? Unfortunately with all the people still asleep we have to wait a little longer for the covid hoax to be called off. I believe it will be soon. Hang in there fren the wait will be worth it.
