Exactly. These days the only way to find the truth is go to the sources.
Yes, but it shouldn't have to be this way. I resent having my brain hijacked for the past year researching virology, germ theory, PCR tests, etc. I had other things planned but they have to wait while I learn how to defend myself from weaponized science, media and politics. Yuck.
Right now there are very few sources we can trust. But out of all this will emerge people with integrity who are also good at digesting this information and giving the people easy to understand reports and once we have those, we can go back to not having to research all this by ourselves.
Until then, no price is too high to ensure we keep our Reality intact, uncompromised.
We can NEVER rely on someone else to do the research for us. If we do, we'll eventually find ourselves right back where we are now...and we won't have Trump to save us from ourselves.
This is what Q is trying to teach us -- we must remain forever vigilant. Freedom isn't free.
There is a story of grandparents from Soviet era who never waste a single grain of rice because they lived through famines. Also similar stories of people who lived through Great Depression. These traumatic experiences sears an imprint on their minds so deep that even after 100 years they never forget the intensity of their misery.
I want the same to happen to all of us. I want each and every one of us to be seared by the misery caused by Mainstream misinformation. Every time a friend called us a racist, or a grocery store denied us service for being anti-science, or the boss fired us for not proclaiming BLM, or the hundreds of articles calling us Violent Qanon Crazies - I want every on of this to leave such a deep imprint that for the rest of our lives, we refuse to take anything told to us by any one else at its face value and always ask the question "What do they get out of peddling this narrative?"
I agree. But, I would prefer that out future world will be brought back to a fundamental, simple system without all the unnecessary complexities. For example, a health system that is focused on wellness, nutrition and quality of life rather than pills, vaccines, a quest for immortality, and anti-depressants would require a lot less research and due diligence on my part.
