the sad thing with that blob of a mom is that the kid is already overweight probably due to the mom's poor food choices and excessive junk food in the house
Having excessive junk food in the house isn't the problem; if you unnecessarily shield your kids from reality when they first taste freedom that will bite them in the ass.
What she should be doing instead is continuously reminding and educating her child about both nutritional and physical healthiness; exercise regularly, monitor consumption, be familiar with what's in foods, and if you start having problems regulate yourself closely.
Kids need to be taught to be successful on their own, not helicoptered. It's that same concept that "we need someone to make us live healthy" that gets us the nanny state.
Um, how can the mom do that looking like a blob with no self control? Also junk food (and fast food) is completely unnecessary and unhealthy; just another way to poison people
That's why you don't have kids until you can take care of yourself; If you can't set a good example for a child, don't have one. You don't need to be perfect or anything; everyone has vices. People just need to be able to sustain themselves before they attempt to sustain a child (or children), too.
As far as junk food, sure; it is; but odds are when she grows up she'll have to contend with the choice of consuming it or not on her own. If she isn't brought up with the necessary tools to make good decisions, she will have to learn a lot of lessons the hard way.
The body doesn't really have independent systems like a lot of people like to think. In reality, it all is deeply connected, and one imbalance anywhere can have rippling effects.

I agree with you mostly, but I have seen people turn their lives around due to a happy accident.
Don't think that would work; mom looks like King Kong Bundy
Yes downvoters the mom is a hottie. You correctly called me out
One problem with the thyroid and anybody can gain lots of weight in no time. Junk food is far from the greatest culprit in our lives.
