Musk wanted to create electric cars because he is a nerd at heart not because he was an environmentalist.

Every piece of the actual tech that is in a Tesla is born from his fascination with high tech cool shit.

Self driving car. Over the air performance updates Kick ass HUD 0-60 that takes your breath away Playing video games while your car drives you

All shit that he thinks is cool as hell and eat up battery power.

Only the liberal celebrity worshipers think Elon was an environmentalist.

If he was an environmentalist he would not have invested billions creating a company that burns thousands of pounds of fuel to launch shit into space.

He is a nerd with billions of dollars to burn.

My suspicion is that with self-driving cars the deep state can control where we go by literally programming cars not to allow us to drive outside of certain areas. I don't trust a lot of the tech coming out.

And maybe he is on the up and up, but so much of this tech can so easily be used for evil. Makes me sick. Like robots. Could be used for a lot of good things, but every movie ever made about robots makes me innately suspicious of them.

All tech can be used for evil.

You could say the same thing about Vint Cerf, the inventor of TCP/IP since now that tech is used to track people and spy on them.

Or Jack Kilby the inventor of the microchip

Or John Logie Baird the inventor of the video camera

Or Marie Van Brittan Brown the inventor of CCTV

Or Tesla himself for inventing the radio (don't give me none of that Marconi bullshit, he used 17 Tesla patents to 'discover' radio)

All those inventions are used by government to control and spy on us.

And again, I'm not saying he's evil or not. I don't know. I'm just a very suspicious person in general, and I have a hard time saying definitively one way or another. And it's cool if you have a different opinion. I just don't like much techy stuff. I want to live in a cabin in the woods and live a very simple life. My husband and I are working towards this goal. But that's just me. I know it's not for everyone. The more I look into Q and the deeper down the rabbit hole I go, the less I trust anyone or anything lol All these people and things I thought were good.... turns out they weren't at all. So I just don't want any part of any of it. It's the simple life for me lol

I can actually get behind the “cabin in the woods” goal. Considering now how Biden and his administration want to tax the ever-loving crap out of us for using vehicles, I sincerely think we should go back to riding horses.

You can hack any system, including self-driving cars. Non-issue.

While the AI behind it might seem sci-fi, if you know what is happening under the hood it simultaneously becomes much more and much less impressive.

Much more because it's stunning how simple it is and how much it aligns with every aspects of life, including our own thinking process and the evolution of species.

Much less, because it's fairly straightforward and will become a childhood pet project in the not too distant future.

If you wanted to you could program a self-driving virtual car that can drive on any hand-drawn track with the same approach (as opposed to explicit programming). In fact, I encourage you to do so to get a better understanding of what the future might look like.

Being prepared is always a good idea, not to mention satisfying and fulfilling.

Could be used for a lot of good things, but every movie ever made about robots makes me innately suspicious of them.

Well, Hollywood controls movies, the DS controls Hollywood and the cabal has every interest to make you suspicious of the most powerful tools available so that it can artificially monopolize them.

This is one of my pet peeves with conservatives. Get into science and tech and stop giving ground to evil.

Science (and its extension that is technology) was created to study, understand and worship God. Do it.

You're more than welcome to have as much tech as you want. My husband is techy. I just don't like it. My ideal life is to live in a cabin in the woods living as naturally as possible with very little tech. But that's just me. I don't trust this crap, just like I don't trust this vaccine. I'm not some backwards conservative idiot. I understand science and tech. And the more I learn and understand about it, the more potential I see for it to strip away more and more of our freedoms.

I still remember life before cell phones and social media. It was so much better. Now, have we been able to use the tech they use to spy on us against them... yes. So I do see that tech can have it's benefits. It's just not for me. I personally find myself so much happier living a much simpler life with less technology. But you do you, my friend.

My ideal life is to live in a cabin in the woods living as naturally as possible with very little tech.

My ideal life is on a nice secluded piece of land (woods, island, lake, mountains, don't really care as long as it has lots of nature), but with full access to tech. Though if I had no tech I still wouldn't be any less whole.

Anything that God created I want to learn more about.

We can complain about people corrupting things, but ultimately God created it all.

It's up to us to find the good in bad and the bad in good.

I don't trust this crap, just like I don't trust this vaccine. Fair, but keep in mind that it's easy to become too extreme. I don't trust this vaccine, but that's because I have no data that clearly establishes that it wins the trade-off with the virus.

And the more I learn and understand about it, the more potential I see for it to strip away more and more of our freedoms. You can say the exact same about the converse. The less understanding, access and use of science and tech on our side, the easier you become to control and turned against yourself.

Hollywood did a great job at programming people into a very unhealthy level of distrust for science and tech. I wonder why they kept pushing such narratives for generations?

Surely they wouldn't neglect to emphasize the beauty and power of science and tech to keep the number of people with a full grasp on both limited?

Surely they wouldn't want you to dislike it so much that you willingly turn away?

I still remember life before cell phones and social media. It was so much better. I do as well, and don't think I can agree on that. There's some transitional noise because people haven't experienced such a radical shift before.

But overall there's more opportunity and potential for everyone. People simply haven't learned how to use the new tools for good, largely in part because of the arguments made above. People were, and still are, programmed into hurting themselves.

We now live in a world where a kid making minimum wage throughout their entire life could decide to become a millionaire by retirement and succeed with little effort (1.5/40 hours of minimum wage invested into index funds per week will get you there starting at 20). And most people make significantly more than perpetual minimum wage.

This is only possible because of the progress we've made.

Anyone who decides that they will change the world for the better, however slightly, has every tool at their disposal to get the job done.

Curiously enough, nobody knows about this indisputable fact. The climb in depression comes from that detachment from reality and the resulting lack of hope and ambition.

I personally find myself so much happier living a much simpler life with less technology. But you do you, my friend. I find it strange that people make their happiness conditional on externalities. Life has never been a "choose your adventure" type larp, but "make the best out of what is available" instead.

And I love it more than anything despite, or rather because of, all the hiccups along the way.

God makes no mistakes.

but every movie ever made about robots makes me innately suspicious of them.

This is like lefties on Twitter creaming their pants over their favorite movie character making some asinine political comment and then acting like because it was said by some "badass", "paragon of goodness" type character that it makes it true and changes the fact that it was actually written by some fat fucking neckbeard in a Hollywood movie studio with the express purpose of brainwashing as many people as possible so they can keep on committing atrocities against as many children as they can get their hands on.

Why the hell are we qualifying our statements and opinions here based on what fictional movies Hollywood produces? Who cares if Batman or whoever roasts the evil Bonald Blump when it was written by some biased idiot in Hollywood? Who cares how robots are portrayed in movies when they're all written by some biased idiot in Hollywood?

And frankly, if there WAS an evil plan involving robots Hollywood would be singing their praises at every opportunity to try and get people to love them, not taking every opportunity to instead portray them as evil.

Actually, that's exactly what's happening. Now that they are becoming more of a reality, the last handful of robot movies that have come out have painted robots in a positive light to change public perception of them. Walle for example.

And hey you are more than welcome to have a robot in your house or whatever, but that is not for me. My ideal life is to live in a small cabin in the woods somewhere with very little tech. I just don't like it. I'm happier when I take long breaks away from it. Heck, I went 6 months without a cell phone last year and it was glorious. I loved it. I miss what life was like before tech took over our lives.

But that's me and my opinion based on my life experiences, and you're welcome to live your life how you want and you can have all the tech you want lol I'm just saying no thank you for myself.

Disciplining a soldier is a long and ardous process breaking down their entire identity to be part of a unit. Soldiers may go AWOL and disobey orders they disagree with, morally or otherwise.

Robots will do whatever shit the operator tells it to do. They do not get scared. They do not deliberate. There is no love or guilt. Military coup, or military counter-coup like is hoped for now? Thing of the past.

When every robot can be controlled by a couple guys, is that really a good thing? No brainwashing required.

– killerbunny88 2 points 5 years ago +2 / -0

That's a good point on the guns. And again, I have no problem with other people using the tech. I just hate all of it. The fact that you can already hack cars seems to prove my point. I can't stand that that is possible. They have been sneaking this tech into our stuff for years. I don't think a car from 1960 could be hacked. But my guess is they used the environment and climate change garbage to force manufacturers to put computers in cars. It also makes it harder to fix your car when things go wrong. My dad used to fix all of our cars, but once they started putting computers in them, he couldn't do much if it was a computer problem. So it made us less self-reliant.

But hey, everyone can do whatever they want. I'm just learning from the whole Q movement not to trust anything or anybody. But everyone has to make their own decisions as far as what kind of tech they are willing to invite into their lives. Same as the vaccine. That's a new kind of "tech" basically genetically modifying humans. But sure it's safe. It's great for us..... nothing bad can happen with that, right?
