Actually, thanks for sharing bc never heard of The Game & I have disliked Jim Carrey for a while so I ignored The Truman Show but maybe I'll give it a look-see.
I saw this a few months back. interdasting indeed. I saw it as more satanic propaganda though with someone buying into lucifer's illusion and destruction of humanity. essentially he buys into the LARPing rather than destroying the game. I'll pry bootleg it just to see what they're still saying but definitely good to keep tabs on these people.
There is a decent movie about reality simulation that never seemed big - The Thirteenth Floor - for anyone interested in those types.
That one, The Game, and The Truman Show (you already know this one, for sure) are good movies about that type of thing.
Also Vanilla Sky with Tom Cruise.

"Thirteen Floor" had the misfortune to come out at the same time as "The Matrix".
That makes sense. Matrix is way better.
They're both good but "The Matrix" came out like a week before so the hype was still stealing all of the attention.

Pure brainwashing. Accept alternate reality, and violence is just downright fun.
Its Disney, don't be too hopeful. Looks like a remake of a lot of similar films with extreme violence turned into humour and endless CGI.
