The shill swarm hopping on this not-news isn't worth an individual response, so I'll just cut and paste what I wrote elsewhere.
**(Although loaf, I'm have to presume you are not part of the intentional shill swarm... but the misconception in your headline communicates the same misinformation that the other pile of shitty shills who have just arrived here to pile on this same bit of non-news in just the last 20 minutes are all wildly waving about)
Oh c'mon man. Please do some research before turning into a screaming Chicken Little.
The important thing to note (which is why the trainwreck that is Gateway Pundit explicitly didn't mention in its absolutely absurd article also posted on this board), is that John Durham is absolutely continuing on in his (far more powerful) role as Special Council for the "Obamagate" investigation.
And in his new position he can't be fired easily, whereas he was asked to leave his US Attorney position, as is usual in a new administration. Barr did us a favor there by anticipating this.
It’s truly not a big difference, however it’s strange you’d correct me when you’re wrong.
But yeesh, this is quite a bit weirder watching you double down on it now - a random article that repeats your little error in the title is not gonna somehow make you right. ?
This board (like most places) is filled with a lot of prideful people seemingly incapable of simply say “Oops. Sorry.” Look, everybody makes mistakes; I make them all the time; hardly the worst thing in the world. But then reflexively defending with pride and dishonesty, rather than learning with humility and truth, is really bad.
And then wow, did you even read the article you linked to?! ?
Benjamin Wittes, an anti-Trump attorney and personal friend to former FBI Director James Comey, explained Friday that Attorney General William Barr’s decision to elevate U.S. Attorney John Durham to “special counsel” was “devilishly clever.” …
According to Wittes, the move to make Durham a “special counsel” will make it virtually impossible for Barr’s successor and the Biden administration to stop Durham’s investigation.
That wasn't clear in your comments, but I do apologize. Yes, I believe we're going to hear a great State of the Union address today. I cannot wait for Trump to share the horrors of the faux-Biden administration. Maybe he'll rattle some of the alt-media that believes this is all settled in elections in 2022 and 2024 without telling us how they plan to fix the election fraud situation if it has been totally ignored by all three branches of government. I'm very happy and proud to see some states taking initiative and creating laws against election fraud and against Biden's EOs, but too much is going on around us not to believe that Trump is maintaining control whether he's standing behind or beside the military.
Durham is not done.

This isn't even news beyond slapping a 2/28 date on something that was announced weeks ago. https://www.courant.com/news/connecticut/hc-news-john-durham-resignation-20210209-20210209-b5fpaekr7ndtnnck2cvz7aer4m-story.html

He’s “Special Counsel”, fren. That’s the title.

I believe that Trump will announce something very nice, I hope real shit goes down, and the operation starts during his speech :)
I want to hear him reference a storm.
I hope more than anything, he calls out the self serving pricks first. After that , he should explain what’s gonna happen to them
Hmmmmmm, something odd is going on
Yes, please read the announcement. He's leaving the U.S. Attorney's Office. He's not abandoning the Special Counsel investigation.
