the Pokémon series is beginning to lose its shine, as they've been putting out so many remakes lately....

Remakes been a huge thing for them since 2006, though.

This was actually the longest they went without one since.

People have been anticipating the D/P remakes in particular since they haven't been done in 3D yet.

Honestly, this announcement gave me hope for the franchise, specifically outsourcing one of the games.

That new 2022 game looks so meh.

I’m 31. They still haven’t made the open world real time action RPG I’ve wanted since 5th grade. The art direction and gameplay of their new game looks like a third party shovel ware GameCube game.
