I was supporting Joe Collins during his campaign and am supporting him still because of this lawsuit plus he joined the effort to recall Governor Newsollini. Anything that causes Maxine Waters pain is worth supporting.

I see this often in the American Indian Sovereign Nation populations as well. There are secrets upon secrets and those that try to break the mold and cross the aisle with the Pipe of Peace get called APPLES. After a while they toe the "party line" or just stop trying.
I remember hearing this from some of the locals while vacationing in South Dakota, how the reservation natives despise those who left and especially if they get educated and become successful in the "white man ways" while those who left can't stand the ones back on the reservation considering them lazy and just making excuses for why they're poor.

But then as the fraud stories came out he started going after a recount, this defamation lawsuit started, and he joined the effort to recall Newsom and so I decided "okay Joe, I'll give you another chance after all."

He didn't win just yet, what she lost was her attempt to get the suit dismissed so it's moving forward.

Joe Collins wins a step in libel suit against Maxine Waters
The former and future Republican opponent of Maxine Waters Joe Collins has won a day in court in his defamation and libel lawsuit against Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
Collins, a 13 1/2 year Navy veteran who hosts a program heard on KABC Radio, filed a complaint against Waters and her campaign in September.
He accused them of falsely advertising, during the campaign, through printed material and radio commercials that he was dishonorably discharged in an effort to deceive the voters.
The South-Central native states Waters knew that was a lie because in 2018 he met with her office to get help with his veteran benefits.
The paperwork stated Collins served honorably in the Navy, receiving decorations and commendations. In December, Collins started the process toward a default judgment against Waters and her campaign committee, Citizens for Waters and unspecified individuals to be named later.
That ‘s when Waters then filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit on free-speech grounds.
However, the judge nixed the hearing on that motion saying Water’s side has not responded to the default judgment against them.
Collins is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
A new hearing has been set for March 22.

I crossed close paths with this Black Queen a while back. She was exiting a store in a wealthy southern Oregon town while I was entering. She had two VERY competent "body guards" with her. Both these tall ladies had close to the head hairstyles (the kind you cannot grab in a fight) and moved like black belt martial artists with a whole lot of fuck you attitude. I stood aside, as she exited and bought a bag of popcorn.

I don't entirely agree with it but I damn well agree that we've been too nice and need to fight fire with fire. We won't burn buildings down and such but if we can't get it made illegal then we might as well use it!
