I really just want to know why Trump is telling everyone to get the vaccine. I can only theorize that the vaccines are BS, or mostly. I can't see an angle here. People close to Trump don't even agree with it. So why would Trump? There has to be a reason. Someone enlighten me please.
Anons know to look at his actions not words. He hasnt taken it. He has to push vax's to play the game. It will be political suicide and feed into lefist narratives to in any way be seen as an antivaxxer. It will switch off normies who are on verge of being red pilled and be totally counter-productive to the GAW.
Conservatives are more discerning than braindead libs who aint gonna make it either way at the end of this.
I've seen this phrase used before, that Trump downplaying or denying the vaccine would be "political suicide". How could the guy who is described as "literally Hitler" by the MSM and political establishment do anything at this point that would lower their opinion of him any further? He got to where he was during his presidency precisely because he bucked conventional "wisdom" on many issues - "You can't build a border wall, it's impossible and would be ineffective", "You can't have peace in the middle east as long as Israel is still around", etc.
If he knows the vaccine is BS, he should say so. Playing nice with the establishment isn't his MO. So either he doesn't know how risky the vaccine is, or he knows something we don't.
Looks like article is based on Maggie Haberman Tweet-
Trump yesterday, at CPAC, said for the first time that "everyone" should get the coronavirus vaccine developed while he was in office. An adviser tells me both Trump and Melania Trump got vaccinated at the White House in January.
IIRC, he could not take it because of the "experimental" treatment he received when he had Covid. That being said, I have struggled with this questions myself. Why does he keep promoting it? I agree the political suicide angle does not fit with his actions during his presidency. He continuously did the opposite of what people in media expected, or said he should do.
None of us knows for sure but truth is a fair percentage of the population feels we can not return to any semblance of normalcy without it, medical professionals included. Could it be a bit of reverse psychology? Those who are against it aren't going to get it because Trump supports it but his detractors? Might they start to question it if he supports it much like they have with the various treatment options he's supported?
Then it's also possible that he knows something about the vaccines rolling out now that we don't. It's really anyone's guess.
Vax was on its way before Trump. I thought he might be recommending it like he did HCQ so MSM would naturally reject it as a killer. I think Trump knows most of his followers are not stupid enough to take it. Let Darwin sort out the other people who take it.

I also worry about this.
Either the vaccine is the mark of the beast, and then Trump has to be in on it.
Or its not, and Trump knows its a nothingburger.

Trump hasn't taken it?
NBC reported he did, but is it fake news?

He was saying in his speech the media always said to do the opposite of him. So maybe....its still nothing?
I wouldn't say he's explicitly TELLING people to get the vaccine. He hasn't taken it himself. That says more than enough to me.
