I don't know the history or my own religion? Do you even know what the word PROTESTant means? You say a protestant worships at the feet of dead saints??? I worship The LORD wherever and whenever I want to. And most certainly not at the feet of a dead human. Protestant means, In Protest to the catholic church which you are lumping the ideology of a catholic and a protestant together. So you can vapidly flap your jaws about things you know nothing of, like the generalization of millions of people because you think you know it all. Do you even know when eastern orthodoxy and western orthodoxy even split? It was the first great schism. Why did they split? Hmmmm?? Since you know it all, seeing as how you can use words like sola scriptura??? That was passed down by a freaking pope!!! PROTESTANTS DON'T BELIEVE IN A POPE!!!! And let me ask you, how highly do you regard St. MARK??? is he your pope?? Do you deify him?? Tradition is important. But here's the deal, by saying these things that you all do, proves to me, that you have no concept of time, and have obviously not read The Bible. Can you even quote leviticus law oh mighty ones that believe in such tradtion?? When Jesus Himself said that not one Jot or Tiddle of the law be forgotten or dismissed?? What happens when your wife keeps acting up and won't stop being a turkey toward her husband?? Go to chapter 30, find out. You kill her and her father for not raising her to treat a man with respect!! Literally says that. You wanna go back to tradition??? I'm sure a whole lot of women here wouldn't enjoy that law very much... you do not know the meaning of grace. You don't even know the history of the very language you even speak. I pray your hypocrisy ends soon, or you will partake in the weeping and gnashing of teeth yourself.
Well thanks, but seriously, I just want to remind anybody and everybody, that without Martin Luther, William Tyndale, and others who fought and died and faced much persecution, that we wouldn't even have an America. Because literally, without Luther, Tyndale might have never translated the bible into english, and without tyndale doing what he did, Elizabeth 1 (first protestant monarch ever), who was not perfect, but lead to King James 1 after her and Mary Queen of Scots got into it hardcore... without King James 1 authorizing an english version of the bible, even with all that has benoist in translation fro. Language to language, then after 1611 when it was translated, at the comission of that king, then 50 to 80 years later, english speaking pilgrims, seeking asylum from religious persecution might have never sought to colonize America, leading to the imperfect but still Great America we know today. The first 5 books of the bible, known as the Torah, or in Hebrew translated, The Law, was literally a big part of our framework for the laws we enjoy today. So when I see someone talking trash on Protestantism, It makes me a little upset, which is why I reacted a bit passionately in a few of my replies. But dangit!! Without the God-Given eight to protest against tyrannical rulers, such as The ROMAN Catholic Establishment... Where and What would America even be??? Would we even have this right to debate at all?? So that is my take on it. I'm a Southern Baptist. And honored to be one, I stand by The Word (Jesus), and will not waver in my soul. All those roads that lead to rome, who crucified Jesus per the request of the Jewish leadership that was in bed with them at the time can go back a whoring after thier other gods like they always do... Ba'al, Asthura, Ishtar, whoever... I love Jesus, and Jesus loves his children.
Catholic people are good people. It's the roman catholic establishment that I don't take kindly to. In my opinion, around circa 200-300 ad somewhere in there, the Roman's, highjacked Christianity because of the ongoing conflicts between the Christians and Jews that they kept having to get involved with. And as soon as they did that, they incorporated as much roman paganism into the church as covertly as they could. And afterwards, after the fall of the roman empire, taking advantage of pretty much the entire public not knowing how to read, they monopolized the scriptures, this why you had to have a bishop, or a cardinal, or a priest, to even know what the scriptures even said. They were The Catholic, ESTABLISHMENT were the scriptural information gatekeepers of thier time, which lasted a VERY long time. And that is why, I believe that the orthodox church was so deadset on not having the bible translated into english. Because once the common folk got a hold of the scriptures, the establishment loses it's power and dominion over the word. Because the gospel sets people free. Which is why, it is o surprise to me that after it was translated into english, around 50 to 70 years later, America was formed. And Freedom of Speech was #1 on the list of Amendments. And literacy in america was a big deal, except among slaves.... imagine that.... but the pilgrims weren't the main slave drivers, it was the colonialists that came right after them in my opinion... colonialists = crown as far as I see it. But The Torah, or The Law is literally five books on HOW-TO set up a Nation under The LORD. Literally. It is every single detail needed to set up an entire Nation that Loves The LORD first. History is actually quite amazing when you actually look into it. At least from the way I see it. But all in all, Catholics are good people who want to love The LORD. Do I believe in their ways... No. But they all have functioning brains, and if they choose that way, when there are other ways out there, then so be it. As far as I see it, if you really Love Jesus, you will seek HIM with an unending ng passion. And that I believe will lead you to exactly where you need to be, with HIM.
First Council of Nicaea, look it up. First Great Schism. Separating the Western Orthodox, (Catholic Church) and Eastern Orthodox (Greek Orthodoxy). The debate was on the trinity, and whether or not Christ Jesus' Divinity. Second schism was protestants and Catholics. I do not have to go through a bishop, a cardinal, or a pope to pray to my LORD. Jesus is my King, and the Holy Spirit is my intercessor. Do you even know why Martin Luther did what he did??? Look into pope Pious the 8th I believe it was... maybe the 10th. One of those pious pieces of work. He was in the process of building the basilica to what it is now, and ran the Vatican's coffers dry in the process. He then resorted to selling indulgences, which were lateral pieces of paper that would, "forgive" a person of thier sins... and not even thier real sins against The LORD, indulgences were originally meant only to forgive a person of a sin against the laws of the church! Because no man can forgive a sin against God. But you man can forgive man for sin against man. But these indulgences in particular were going to far, some were even reportedly said to have written on them, that even if the mother of jesus were alive in that day, and one were to rape her, that the indulgence bought, would forgive the person of even that sin.. which is complete and totally blasphemy. Luther, an Augustinian Monk, literally the most hardcore monkly order in europe. Was being continually asked to explain these indulgences to the populace, because they were so wild they didn't even make sense to the layperson as to how the church could be peddling these things... so even he, a learned scholar in the Word, was having a hard time explaining these things to people. And in his extreme frustration, nailed his 99 thesis to the door of the church. Out of his opposition for this. And rightfully so. And from there it lead him to the diet of worms, which he prevailed. And rightfully so. He didn't even mean to start the protestant revolution, it was just an side effect of the current situation, born out of the pope's love of money and flashy building projects that was driving your precious orthodoxy into paradoxical heresy. So, continue. Please. I can literally go on all day, and you know why? Because I know my history.

Lots of peole bash on catholism,
well duh, they grew past the bounds they were supposed to maintain. then allowed pollution of peganism, and counter the old testiment.
Ask any church goer what a scapegoat is.
you cannot understand the gospel without the foundation the gospel came from.

You're right, I'm just a big dummy. I'm done arguing with you. It serves me no purpose to continue on with you.
To everyone who will read this,
I am really stupid, disregard very single thing I have said... I just made it all up.
