Fascism's meaning isn't true to its origin. The fascist party came to life in Italy around WW2.
It comes from the Italian word "fascio" which means "bundle" to indicate the syndicate of the working class.
It was a bundle of workers who wanted the control of the country to belong to them. IE the state comes before the individual. Fascism is inherently socialism in the idea that the working class owns the means of production and governs itself.
Fascism became a dirty word to slander Mussolini when he pulled Italy into WW2 when the general public had no interest in going to war.
What is hilarious is no modern day education notes that fascism's roots are rooted in giving power to the working class.
What is odd is the true history of WW2 is unknown by most. Hitler absolutely despised communism and didn't exactly ever refer to himself or his political ideas as "fascist". He considered himself to be seperate from the left-right spectrum, because he disliked both sides.
One thing I have noted is there are many similarities with political events during Germany post WW1 that line up to what we are seeing now in the US.
Libtards will deny that fascism is socialism and they will choose to ignore that communism has done significant damage based on history.
Calling someone a fascist is just a leftist tactic to draw the emotional rhetoric of what Nazi Germany did and easily shut down a political opponent. No one wants to be compared to Hitler. No different than being called racist if you point out significant issues in the black community.
Take some time to do some research. You will learn how much propaganda was involved in your childhood education.
The downvotes are from somebody who got cranky with me and downvoted everything I posted for a while, I think. Thanks for the well thought out response!
I'm an amateur when it comes to this, but to implement communism you need to have a fascist entity in control right?
Communism and socialism use to be synonyms, the split then fascism was born out of the new socialists. They are all cousins.
Why the downvotes? Poor guy is asking a question
