Very weird. For a woman who’s supposed to be modern and so in, and such a role model for young girls, I don’t understand why she’d say she’s retiring and going to be knitting - which is something our grandmothers did. I smell something fishy.

A regular Obama would say: « I’m not thinking of retiring. Whoever thought about anything as retiring? Retiring into what? Retiring is a construct, women are still very active, even way past their 60s and 70s. I have always been inspired by Ruth Ginsberg who had such energy and integrity that she worked until her death. I want to be active, to help poor children, to save them, to inspire girls. I’ll build a new community thing. »
