For a long while, I had thought he was too big of an uncontrollable force in the national Dem power structure and they needed to coalesce behind Biden/Harris. In other words, there is no room for anyone longing for Cuomo to lead the Party when Biden is removed for dementia. So they had to destroy him.

Of course it is true that his national profile among Dems and the media was a looming embarrassment given his scandals, and of course they had to find something to distract from the nursing home murders ... especially since it leads to questions about 4 other Dem Governors.

I think elements of 2 and 3 are correct, but I'm now noticing that his scandals have weakened him so much that he can't effectively be a cheerleader for New York's efforts to prosecute Trump under NY laws. And that's clearly where they were headed. It would look like political desperation if Cuomo talked about pursuing Trump now, so they are left without a rock star to lead that charge on every CNN and MSNBC program ad nauseum. So they need to replace him with someone who can put the focus back on Trump and NY's prosecution of him.

I think they were sailing up shit creek when people started asking questions about the Covid deaths. If they MeToo him now hopefully they'll kill the nursing home story before it takes everyone else down.
Definitely number 2. They need to install Kamala after Pedo Joe and Cuomo is a threat to that so they are delegitimizing him ahead of time.
They want to destroy him to take heat off of the nursing home revelation which will also reveal every other democrat who used nursing home to prod death numbers

If you go to the government site for federal indictments, he is on the list as being executed for crimes against humanity. They can’t try him because he’s already dead, but they can destroy his name. Actor or clone right now? We shall see...
