He is. Trump was able to establish talks and some sort of middle ground as he is a master negotiator. While he wasn't able to seal the deal, he was able to open a communications channel.
If you believe the conspiracies, Trump was able to help him out, and get rid of a CIA branch installed by deep state agents in NK. Trump also was able to root out several deep state agents surrounding Kim.
Kim is grateful, and will not deal with US with an administration connected to the Deep State lest he be put in the same situation.
Reading the rumours that Kim may not even be in charge in NK was a real eye opener.
Not the case at this point, he is back in charge. But isn't it interesting that NK has been extremely quiet recently? Funny how Trump goes in, and all saber rattling stops.
Dennis Rodman was a huge part of opening up those channels in my opinion.
its honestly true. Dennis Rodman probably created more goodwill between the USA and Kim Jong Un/DPRK more than any other single person could have.
Some hypothesize he laid the groundwork for Trump in North Korea, but it's actually right out in the open.
Rodman was on The Apprentice so knew Trump well. He gave a copy of The Art of the Deal to Kim Jong Un in 2017.
Here's Rodman's Tweet about it-
