I wonder how many doctors can efficiently practice their trade without constant guidance from their regulatory authority. Or how many teachers can teach without a handbook telling them, do it this way, not that way. My guess, is very few. These trades especially seem to lack common sense in their fields, leading me to conclude, that the government runs them 100% Because as we know, when the government runs anything, approximately 95% of the money invested is wasted.
Edit: My figures are explicitly derived from my personal experiences. From the FDA on down the list of unelected officials making "laws" (for those that dont know, the FDA is probably worse in corruption than the CIA..Research the biography of Dr. Max Gerson)
Research how Rockefeller is related to AMA and western medicine as we know it.

Doctors are heavily policed. But there is a growing movement among doctors to a cash model, as few of them enjoy learning insurance codes or the necessity of hiring people simply for things they hate (like insurance, fending off pharma rep parasites, etc.)

According this history of the medical field around the 20th century, it's been regulated for a long time now:

They can’t. I personally know 3 doctors that have quit because of Government oversight. All 3 mentioned that the passage of Obamacare was the start of their decision to retire. One doctor also mentioned that he knows of more leaving the profession as well.
Teachers cant teach, and doctors cant heal. What a system.
Teachers yes. Doctors have the malpractice suit industry sharks constantly circling. There isnt much room to operate outside of what they can get away with passing the buck
Medical Billing.
Everything, all the notes and weights and symptoms that your doctor writes down, ultimately gets transcribed into medical billing codes.
So ultimately, a broken health insurance system controls how medical details are codified and recorded.
This is not to detract from the way MANY professions are overly policed by non-governmental agencies.
We got an overload of middlemen who claim to add "order" without adding value.
But to take something as nuanced as personal healthcare and turn it into very impersonal codes for billing is exceptionally broken.
