But honestly someone that thinks "multiple focus effect" is a thing probably isnt going to understand much

I'm an engineer with a degree in physics and an amateur photographer. I'll manage.

I used the term I used to explain to people who would have no idea what DOF was how both the microphone and Biden's hands could appear in focus despite them being on multiple (2D) layers.

So are you saying the video isnt CGI? Or are you saying bidens hands and the deadcat are on 2 seperate layers (is CGI)?
